In an great finish the New York (AL) Yankees won in dramatic fashion over the
Baltimore Orioles by a score of 8 to 7 at Yankee Stadium.
 
New York (AL) scored the winning runs in the bottom of the 9th inning when
they came up with 5 runs on 3 hits.  The key at-bat was by Giancarlo Stanton
who made the crowd come alive when he stroked a one-base hit which was good
for two runs.  New York (AL) had 11 hits for the night while Baltimore had 6.
 
The victory went to Lucas Luetge(1-0) who went 3 innings, allowing 1 run. Cole
Sulser(0-1) absorbed the loss in relief.  'What a game!,' Luetge said 

afterward. 'When we won it I almost couldn't believe it!'
